Left Alone was written on the upswing of the pandemic when my girlfriend and I were on lockdown together inside of our studio apt. By and large it was a blessing that we had each other but on days where we had the near-impossible task of finding much needed time and space for ourselves, it felt as if we may never have a moment alone again. This song was birthed from those days.
Being isolated can be problematic, even dangerous, that's for sure. But being alone to collect myself - or even just BE with myself is something I didn't know I needed until the option itself was no longer available.
